“Exceptional technical perfection and what’s more soulful and full of brio interpretation” – so is written about a CD of 17th century music by baroque ensemble “Ludus Instrumentalis”.
Main band consists of three young musicians who knew each other in St-Petersburg: Evgeni Sviridov (baroque violin), Anna Dmitrieva (baroque violin) and Ekaterina Biazrova (harpsichord and organ); currently they are studying in Cologne by Prof.Konrad Junghaenel, Richard Gwilt and Michael Borgstede. Ensemble can be enlarged to 7-8 musicians.
In September 2015 “Ludus Instrumentalis” was honoured 1st Prize at Berliner-Bach Competition in Berlin. In April 2016 Ensemble got 1st Prize and Audience Prize at “Förderpreis Alte Musik 2016” in Saarland. Latest success of the band was in November 2016 at "Brothers-Graun" Competition in Bad Liebenwerda, where they got 1st Prize as well. An increasing career is confirmed by invitations to major festival in Europe in 2017: Bachfest in Leipzig, Koethener Bachfesttage, “TAMIS” Festival in Saarbrucken and others.
