The Accademia del Piacere, led by its director Fahmi Alqhai, is one of the most interesting ensembles in Spain and one of the leading ensembles of its kind in Europe - thanks to its innovative concepts, technical perfection and virtuosity combined with the enthusiasm and wit of the musicians, as well as with the artistic director’s charisma.

This is witnessed in the invitations of the ensemble to venues such as the Kammermusiksaal Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, the Philharmonie Cologne, British Museum, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, the Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the International Cervantino Festival (Mexico), the MA Festival Bruges and many other festivals in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.

The concerts of the Accademia del Piacere are regularly transmitted live via the European Broadcasting Union and can also be heard on RNE (Spanish National Radio), North German Broadcasting, Radio della Svizzera italiana as well as in the Czech Republic. Moreover, they can be seen in numerous television broadcasts.
